Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 Review
Filed in archive Panasonic on March 11, 2010
Overview
The Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS3 is one of Panasonic's best cameras in its top series, the Lumix. This is a rather rugged camera, it with withstand being tossed around, as long as the lens is not open, which could cause some severe damage. With the lens close, the camera is very compact.
Specs
The ZS3 is equipped with a 10.1 25mm Megapixel lens, then extends approximately one inch. Images are captured onto an SD card. The 12x zoom feature includes image stabilization, which is only one of the many built in features. There are over 25 different Scene Selections, such as action sports, night/dark, etc. One of the most useful features is facial recognition, not to mention the ability to capture video media. The audio track to a video is captured trough the two microphones on the top. However, if you have long fingers, the mic will get covered up. The 3 inch LCD works well in most light conditions, including bright sunlight.
