Review Of Samsung’s PL200 Digital Camera
Samsung has yet again launched a new ultra compact digital camera called the PL200. The camera features 7x optical zoom, 14.2 megapixels, digital image stablization and is able to record 720p HD video footage.
The point and shoot digital camera is a budget friendly camera suited for those who are currently short on cash. It's not a bad camera if you require the basics to take photos at the introductory cost of $179.99.
Samsung isn't the best brand when it comes to the wide selection of digital cameras in the market, but they are known for their good quality and innovative design. The camera comes in thee colors; black, silver and red and is available at all good electronics stores.

Lens distortion at corners of the photo is very bad. Not ideal on portrait shots. For other purpose it is acceptable but for not for people.

Samsung PL200 has a nice concept, but I’ll no longer buy any camera that does not also include an optical view finder in addition to the LCD screen. LCD is no good on a bright sunny day. Canon has pretty much gone to no optical too.
